Skillet Bacon Jam Review





I know....I know....You're wondering, "What the World??  How can bacon be a jam??!!  


Well, here's how you do it:  You take a big bunch of really, really good bacon, and render it down...add a bunch of spices..onions, etc. and let it simmer for about 6 hours...give it a quick puree, blast chill it...and you have bacon jam.....And, that is exactly what Skillet Street Foods has done!!!


When my jar of bacon jam arrived in the mail, I opened it up and immediately took a tiny spoonful.  My first thought was, "Wow! Amazing!"  I immediately began to see the wonderful possibilities in this little jar....scrambled eggs with bacon jam, sumptuous hamburgers with bacon jam as a topping, or even better, as a substitute for the bacon on a BLT!   YUMMY!!!!
