Diane over at Mom To Monkeys blogged about an AWESOME *HOT* $5 off $5 Hallmark Printable Coupon! Hallmark just released this terrific printable coupon. Just go here to print a $5 off your total purchase coupon at Hallmark Gold Crown--NO minimum amount listed. This coupon is valid all the way through December 24th.

This $5 coupon is also available in select magazines right now:

I absolutely love Hallmark cards, but usually avoid buying them because they are way too expensive. But, with this printable coupon AND the coupon I found in my Martha magazine, this will enable me to get some terrific cards ABSOLUTELY F.R.E.E.!! WA-HOO!! :)

Today is the Annual Christmas Parade in my Small-Town. The highlight of the parade, in my humble opinion, is the BAND! Teen Son is definitely remembering his gloves this year, and it's a good thing, because the temp. is only going to be about 30-something today. Right now my internet weather bug says 16 degrees...BRRR!

look closely...my son is the one without the gloves! (last year's parade!)

After the parade, I am volunteering at the Thrift Store...it is our Bag Sale today...Fill a bag for a buck! If you want to snag a great deal, come on over to Small-Town! PLUS, the small chinese diner is having their Christmas Parade deal. The Lunch Buffet is only $2.99 for All-You-Can-Eat! Doesn't that sound yummy? There is nothing like a wintery-day parade, volunteering, and Crab Rangoons, Egg Rolls, Sticky Rice, General Tso's Chicken, and Sweet and Sour Chicken, along with a pot of tea, to make the day complete!

  1. One of our thrift stores was having a $3/bag sale yesterday. I bought two bags full, including a casual Christmas dress for Kat, a pair of Lee carpenter jeans for Shane and a couple of sweaters and a pair of New Balance hiking shoes for myself. I had enough in those two bags to make everything average to just 40¢ per item! Love those bag sales!

    Have a great celebration today!

  2. One of our thrift stores was having a sale last Saturday. Fill a plastic sack for $2.50. I got 3 bags full and am using the clothes I bought as fabric for Christmas presents.
I'm glad your son remembered gloves this year. BRRRR!

  4. Thanks for the info on Hallmark. I just got a coupon for $5 off. I got some thank you cards. I can never be too thankful. I should have gotten apology cards, I seem to need more of them.
    Have a great weekend!

  5. I remember the days of having to march in the parades in the winter. I wasn't in the band with uniforms that covered you, I was on the kickline with tiny dresses!! I hated winter parades!

Oh, and the Hallmark? I used to have three stores near me and now I have none! Bummer!
