Okay, so I am up and at it this morning, sitting here drinking some coffee and wondering what to blog about, when it suddenly hit me....DID YOU KNOW THANKSGIVING IS ONLY 4 DAYS AWAY!! YIKES!! And I haven't even bought the turkey yet!
Why am I such a procrastinator??
My Mother isn't!
Am I really my Mother's child?? Maybe I was switched at birth and no one had the heart to tell me!! :)
Before I go into panic mode (and need someone to talk me down!), I am going to take a deep breath and do what my Mom would do: make a list and evaluate.
So, here is my list of things done:
NOTHING!
Yep. That worked well. Now I am really in a panic!
At least it is sunny out and not rainy. Blah weather makes my mood rather, ummm, blah! I am going to church today, and while I am sitting and listening to the minister, I'll be making a mental "to do" list. I have learned to mulit-task during sermons; one part of my brain is listening and absorbing while the other part is busy keeping track of what I need to do and what I haven't done! And, all this time, while my Mom has been thinking that I am so interested in what is being said over the pulpit, I have actually been pondering whether or not I have enough meat in the freezer for tacos and if the toliet bowl needs cleaning! LOL
Have a wonderful day everyone and if you have time, leave me a comment on what YOU have on YOUR to-do list!!
I have a 16 pound turkey in the freezer. According to Butterball's site I have to get it in my fridge today in order for it to thaw by Thursday. That means I have to clean the fridge. I hate cleaning the fridge.
ReplyDeleteLola, I'm right with you on the whole "I hate cleaning the fridge" comment. Ugh. That is the worst job in the world!!
