So, when I (finally!) got home after the dr. appt. and working my volunteer gig, I started reading posts about other people who have had the same experience. My sis, Danesa, over at mdamborge, also posted her experience with KFC. This is my theory: if this promo between Oprah/KFC was to promote their "healthier" chicken and to bring in new customers, I have bad news for them. It flopped big time. This article is explaining that El Pollo Loco is going to honor those now-pretty-worthless KFC coupons that you may have printed. We don't have one around here, but if you do, you might want to call yours and see if they are truly participating! :)
I managed to print 4 coupons by using 2 different computers. I also have the pdf. I think I will just buy the darn meal at some point :-)
